In today’s news, Ukraine (Ureign) sends wheat to support food security in Pakistan. European study finds Greenland ice melt becoming more extensive and severe, Argentine scientists develop electricity-free filter to remove arsenic from water, spiritual practice associated with reduced alcohol and drug abuse, anonymous gift arrives in Osaka, Japan, to pay for enhanced water infrastructure, Poland expands school menus to include vegan meal options, and Southern white rhino-people rewilded in Rwanda.

I’m happy to see a lot of families enjoying traveling together with their furry friends. Here is a safety tip for those driving with dog-companions. Although many caretakers allow their dog-companions to ride in the car unrestrained because it makes them feel happy and free, it is unsafe. Not only can an unrestrained dog-person easily distract the driver, they can also block or move the steering wheel, gas or brake pedals, and gear shift. In the event of an accident or even stopping abruptly, your dog-companion can become a dangerous projectile. Furthermore, in the case of an accident, they can potentially escape and become lost, or be injured by an airbag or worse. Keep in mind, when a dog-person sticks their head out of a car window, debris from the road can damage their eyes, mouth, and nose. Therefore, it is best to restrain them during car rides. Please note dog-buddies should not travel in the front seat even if they are restrained because this increases the chance of a distraction-related accident for the driver. Please find the appropriate rear-seat restraint for your dog-buddy as this could save their life!

We got something to relax your jaw muscle, please laugh! It’s called, “The Mini-Golf Strategy.”

Joanna overheard her coworker Lily talking about going on a date with a man she met on the internet.

“Wait, you’re meeting a stranger from the internet? Isn’t that dangerous?”

“Oh, don’t worry. I’ve picked a very safe location. A miniature golf course.”

“Mini-golf? Why there?”

“First, it’s public. Second, it’s in broad daylight. And third... I have a club in my hand.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Hong-Jun in Singapore
